The American Arbitration Association® (AAA®) and its international arm, the International Centre for Dispute Resolution® (ICDR®), have teamed up with EdTek to unveil the AAAi Chat Book Case Preparation and Presentation. This cutting-edge AI-driven handbook, available at no cost, is inspired by the resource "Case Preparation and Presentation: A Guide for Arbitration Advocates and Arbitrators" authored by Jay E. Grenig and Rocco M. Scanza. It stands as the inaugural interactive guide designed for the preparation and presentation of AAA cases.
Users can interact with the handbook by posing questions and receiving answers throughout the stages of case preparation and presentation. It encompasses pertinent rules and the complete text of the print book, making it an indispensable tool for anyone engaged with the AAA.
Empowering Emerging Advocates and Self-Represented Individuals
The AAAi Chat Book marks the beginning of a series of upcoming free AI chat books from AAA. As per Steve Errick, AAA's chief development officer, these tools are intended to assist new AAA advocates, law students exploring alternative dispute resolution, and self-represented individuals. "Facilitating the process for parties and advocates to present a claim is central to our mission," Errick emphasized. By providing this resource free of charge, the AAA ensures that all parties have access to expert insights and guidance for managing AAA cases.
Developed in collaboration with EdTek, the AAAi chat book series is designed to empower users to fully utilize AAA's next-generation AI learning resources.
EdTek's Contribution to Transforming Learning Resources
Introduced in 2024, the EdTek ChatBLDR program allows publishers to create online content databases that users can query in plain English. The system delivers synthesized, well-structured answers based on verified materials, thereby eliminating the risk of AI-generated inaccuracies.
"Whether legal and educational publishers have a single book or hundreds, they now have the opportunity to convert static resources into dynamic, AI-powered learning tools," stated Steve Emanuel, EdTek co-founder and legal author.
Enhancing Educational Resources with AI
The AAA-ICDR is dedicated to integrating advanced AI technologies and expanding its educational resources to grow the community of dispute resolution service users. In February, they plan to launch an AI Case Filing Assistant Chatbot to streamline the filing process. These new services align with AAA's mission to offer innovative solutions that prevent, mitigate, and resolve disputes efficiently.
